Cecilia and her daughter Daniela were beyond kind and incredibly helpful with everything. They upgraded us to a slightly larger room, and when I accidentally left my iPad in our previous room, they safely kept it for me at the front desk. "We checked in here when we discovered the original place we had booked was horrible and we could just not stay there. This hotel was a welcome find! I really wish I could remember the lady at the front desk’s name - she was so friendly and helpful, always smiling!! We also had a wonderful massage as well, it was so relaxing!! Special shout out to Jorge who went above and beyond!! We highly recommend this hotel right downtown San Cristobal."

"Clean room, attentive staff. small insect problem but the manager took care of it immediately and it was resolved for the rest of our stay. Staff English limited but Google Translate made things smooth 😁. If you have any situation or problem, the staff is very attentive, but if you don’t say anything : no solution 😜. "Close to restaurants and ferry. However our “beach view” was completely obstructed and the bathrooms had mold all over the ceilings. This was the only Hostal we stayed in that did not have water for us to refill our bottles. They did have a store to buy a few items. My daughter forgot her earphones and they flagged us down to let us know which was really nice. The property needs some serious work. I paid more for the ocean views from the patio but wasn’t able to see it at all. "
