"We had a great weekend visiting Santa Cruz with our grandsons! OPL was close enough to walk to the pier and boardwalk, but far enough to get away from the noise. The room was large and very accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean, albeit a bit worn, but to be expected. Staff was helpful and parking was free(no valet)., which was fine! Would recommend and stay here again!!"

"I had no problem parking. Staff was very kind. Bring your own coffee/coffee pot if you want AM coffee. You only get 2 tiny bars of soap. Walking distance to the beach is just a few minutes walk! The room was very clean. Bed comfy. AC at night was perfect & kept the room cool. No noise from upper level which was nice! It was pricy for the weekend but overall I was very happy. "

"Overall the hotel is decent. The room was clean and spacious. The property is ok but could use some up-keep. Didn't care for the coffee from the machine in the lobby, it tasted like chemicals, maybe from the cleaning process."
