"Love this place. Very convenient for the airport with a nice pool and sun loungers. Sadly the restaurant next door has closed since our last visit but Pingo Doce supermarket is only a short walk for a picnic or they have a cafe. Only improvement would be a kettle in the room!"

"Great place for a family - beach within a short walking distance, several pools and a playground to keep kids entertained. Staff are lovely, we had a great stay, our second time there. Took a couple of days and a few requests to get a highchair though and never received coffee pods for the machine despite asking a few times. "We had a lovely four nights here in this older but charming hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a Juliette balcony to relax on. Breakfast on offer was lovely and we enjoyed the evening meals… delicious! Right across from the ferry to Tavira Island it was a perfect spot."

"Tout était parfait. Chambre très confortable. Le personnel était extrêmement courtois et chaleureux à la fois, surtout au resto italien Lina où nous avons pris le dîner 4 soirs d'affilée. La nourriture y était succulente! Personnel le matin au petit déjeuner très courtois aussi ainsi qu'à l'open deck ! On a adoré cet hôtel!"

"Staff were mostly very helpful apart from one of the male reception managers who was rude and dismissive. Housekeeping was generally very good , didn't always replenish toiletries or wash crockery in the room pool area ok not attractive and overlooking the road. It isn’t really a 5 star hotel 4 star at best. Breakfast was good but in a room which was hot and stuffy next to the car park. No where outside to eat breakfast. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room otherwise you are looking at a block...

"A lovely hotel; all the staff were efficient and friendly. We felt welcomed and valued as guests with water, wine and a fruit plate on arrival ( late night arrival). Sonia, the golf concierge, was superb; arranging golf booking but also answering all my questions about club hire etc… pre-arrival. She is an asset to the hotel. "Terrific property that is very well cared for by their exceptional hospitality and housekeeping staff. The breakfasts are wonderful and begin at 7 am sharp so you can make your early tee time. My only criticism would be the underground parking which I found to be tight in a couple of spots but there is surface parking which I used. Hope to return."

Breakfast is simple and uninspired but sufficient. Firm, comfortable bed, a/c and fan and a small balcony. Easy to take bus out front to the airport or to Faro and many good restaurants close by."
