We chose this hotel because it was close to a train station and another site we wanted to visit but it may not be the best location if you want to be in central Sapporo. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Larger than other hotels in Japan. Comfortable beds.

SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL
Convenient location and a really nice onsen. It gets very crowded, it has a very small gym, and only 3 combination washer/dryers for the entire building. The laundry can get really lined up as a regular sized load takes 2 hours to complete, and may not be fully dry. The breakfast has a good selection, ...

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Sapporo
Beautiful, new hotel with a very spacious bedroom. Great amenities. The only downside is that they don't allow tattooed persons to bathe in the Onsen. Still, would highly recommend.
