First and foremost, this hotel is one of the few located in a theme park.
Like most hotels in Japan, they are tidy and clean and their staff are very courteous and helpful.
Hotel is old and dated, i think it's the oldest hotel out of the 6 i'ved stayed in during my trip to Fukuoka. However it was clean and very livable. Spacious as well!
Main issue that i didn't like was the parking. While it's free, it has one central car park that all hotel guests will park their car at. Then you will take the shuttle bus that arrives at designated time to pick you up and send you back. Kinda waste time in my opinion but to some it may be ok. So just stating this for your own knowledge.
An amazing hotel with very nice architecture, you can enjoy every corner in this amazing hotel. Restaurant and bar was incredible and the service was wonderfully This hotel was a recommended from my mom and she is very picky.
It's a gorgeous hotel within walking distance of all the little theme parks and palace. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was exactly how it looks in the pictures. We had an amazing time and are planning on coming back!

Spacious room with good sea view
This hotel is a bit old but the room is large and offers a good sea view. It's within walking distance to the main section of the theme park. Staff were friendly. Some could speak fluent English. Overall happy with the stay.
There is no Parking, the lot is about 3k away, you need to take a bus to the hotel. The hotel is clean, but the rooms are dated , in need of some upgrades. Overall it's good
This property was exceptionally clean, and staff offered an exceptional service. We loved this hotel very much, and as 2 wheelchair users enjoyed our stroll to the local train station to further our tour of this beautiful Country. The hotel offered a free courtesy bus for us on arrival and throughout our stay, which was fabulous. The hotel offered free his and hers pyjamas along with all the normal things. I would definitely rate this hotel as one of the best i have stayed at. The only thing that was an negative was the hard mattress on the bed, and we both commented on this, and i woke up with back ache. Overall a 9 out 10 for this hotel. Thank you for a fabulous stay that we totally loved. ❤️
Great scenery, right at the waters edge, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was tasteful and clean. In the week (not weekend) there were limited dining options, even the conbini was far. Access to the Huis ten Bosch was not cheap and limited options with early closing.
Room is not updated and old. It’s not 4 and half star. It’s good location if you visit Houstenbosh.

Excellent harbour view from the room, staffs were nice. But the bathroom was too old, the shower hose had seriously leakage. Need to pay attention if you want to book the room with breakfast for a family with kids. I had booked this hotel with breakfast for 2 adults and 1 kid (4 years old), but the hotel still charged me for 1 kid because the hotel said the package I booked through Expedia did not include kid's breakfast.
Most unpleasant bell service at the Hotel Den Haag Nagasaki.
Upon check in, a petite hotel staff (lady) fluent in English helped us with off loading luggage onto the trolley. She was helpful and also gave us timetable of shuttle bus.
But for departure next day, while there were plenty of staff near the area for hotel guests waiting for shuttle bus to get to our cars, none came to help any hotel guests transferring luggage onto the bus! It was so inconvenient to your car by shuttle, yet no staff thought to come help (one foreign hotel staff (man) waived us good bye for a long time when we were all already seated on bus).
I learnt no parking near hotel due to fireworks happening 2 days after our departure. So guests had to take shuttle bus (2 rides per hour only) to parking at front entrance of the theme park.
It was raining/snowing, not to mention we had aging parents and young children travelling with us.
It was most inconvenient and we felt unworthy the way we were treated.
Thumb up to the hotel's restaurant as the buffet on local delicacy is delicious and great value for money. And the restaurant staff service was great!
I doubted if it's not a norm for Japanese hotel staff to help with guests' luggage, but our later hotel experience whether it's small traditional Japanese Hot spring as well as the Hilton Hawk Fukuoka, all of them had greeting & helpful staff with our luggage, so the bell man service at Hotel Den Haag is big disappointment.
A beautiful hotel located very close to the harbour gate entrance to the park. Our room was spacious. The breakfast buffet, although a little pricey was great with so many choices and cuisine types. My only complaint would be that the parking is far away and the parking shuttle bus is not super convenient, especially if you have luggage or small children.

Great location with a short walk into amusement park. Nice large lobby but it and rooms need updating. Staff was nice but parking at the park lot, though free, is a pain to access car with shuttle.
