"Comfortable stay in cosy double room. All staff very friendly and attentive. We rented a car for convenience which was nice to have for going to and from the airport and for visiting some beaches. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which offers frequent (and cheap) transport into Saint Peter Port. Would return to this hotel without hesitation."

"All the staff were fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The service was great too. The hotel is in a gorgeous quiet spot surrounded by trees with beautiful gardens. It's conveniently located for St. Peter Port, either to walk the cliff path or use local buses. I have coeliac disease and the care taken with making sure I had gluten free food was very good, I really appreciate this. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant which is open Tuesday to Saturday. "Great location, staff all friendly and efficient. Lovely breakfasts. Hotel is being refurbished in stages, but room was fine and public rooms are lovely. Whilst location is great, might be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there is no lift at the hotel so make sure to book a ground floor room if needed. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel has a very interesting historical background with all the comforts one expects at a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and receptive to any requests. The room we stayed in was clean, well taken care of by housekeeping and had updated and modern bathroom and lighting/appliances. very nice and comfortable common areas, clean looking pool. excellent included breakfast, continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast made to order. "Beautiful building and grounds, good location and plenty of on site parking. Received a professional friendly welcome with a speedy check in and kindly escorted to my room. It was very hot weather and the air con was very handy. Comfy room good amenities. Evening meals and breakfast excellent with a good selection, well presented and good service.
