"My husband and I had an amazing stay for the weekend. It is in a perfect location to walk to everything. We had a balcony room with a gorgeous view of the river. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. We Would definitely stay here again!"
"A really nice hotel in a fantastic location. Lots to do nearby, and walkable to River St. They do mean "double bed" in the booking, if you're larger, I'd recommend booking the king. Very friendly front staff. Pool was nice, but not enough chairs, so we didn't get to enjoy it. This hotel is definitely work a look if it's in your budget."
Holiday Inn Express Savannah - Historic District by IHG
8/10 Good
"Great location for exploring the historic district. Our room had a small balcony overlooking River Street buildings and the river. Unfortunately it seems E Bay street is the main thoroughfare for all trucks and it was quite loud in the morning (use white noise). Room was comfortable and clean, bathroom floor could use a good scrub. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was as good as a complimentary breakfast gets. Valet is expensive ($48 per night) but they use the same lot that is a public lot (way cheaper to self park). I would stay there again but the Hyatt is closer to the river and a room overlooking the river would be a lot quieter I believe."
"We enjoyed our stay here- the pros: room was clean, bed was comfy, check in/out was easy.We were given free drink tokens which we didn't end up using, but it was nice. Breakfast was available in the lobby, however a little pricey for what we were given.
Cons: It was a little tricky getting what we needed from house keeping since the 2 we spoke to didn't speak English, but it was fine. Some of the valet guys
Seemed less than enthusiastic about assisting us and the elevators in the parking garage smelled like pee, Im not sure if homeless people camp out there or whatever.
Overall, despite those couple things we would stay here again. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to."
"Three nights at the Kimpton in Savannah cost us around $*,*** (yes that much!) including what was advertised as an inclusive breakfast. As it turns out, “inclusive” is a wonderfully flexible term. Upon arrival we discovered there was a $25-per-couple spending limit. Given that one breakfast dish cost $19, a slice of toast was $5, and an Americano was $6, the budget was effectively exhausted before you had finished ordering. Feeling extravagant enough to add an orange juice? Congratulations, your “free” breakfast is no longer free.
Check-in at 9:40pm set the tone perfectly. The front desk staff appeared to be operating in a state somewhere between exhaustion and confusion, mumbling instructions that were largely unintelligible. After a long day of travel, deciphering cryptic hotel riddles was not really on our agenda.
The room itself was remarkably basic for the price. The shower and toilet were separated, while a tiny sink appeared to have been assigned responsibility for every other washing-related activity. The overall condition of the hotel felt tired and poorly maintained.
Breakfast service was perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the stay. The staff worked with the frantic energy of people trying to compensate for a management team that had disappeared years ago. The same person made coffees, took orders, fetched food from the kitchen, processed bills, and seemingly kept t"

6/10 Okay
"the room, bed and bathroom were clean. carpet on the hallway felt very dirty.
In general, a lot of lower class young people stayed there, felt unsafe at times.
Staff were barely above average helpful. the door man and security were not professional.
Air conditioner leaking water, I put a bucket underneath so it won't flood the floor.
bed was good and comfortable, bathroom clean and updated"
