"Interesting old hotel/farm setting. Old stone hotel building but in good condition. Arrived after dark a little before 8pm and the place was completely dark. Had a hard time finding a lobby for check in. Another guest helped us and we got someone (non-English speaking) to check us in. Our room on the third floor was modern and clean but small. "Das ist ein einfaches Hotel. Zimmer war recht gross und das Bett war ein Boxspringbett. Checkin ging schnell vor der Tür. Keine Rezeption vorhanden. Restaurant hatte geschlossen kann ich also nicht bewerten. Zimmer ok auch recht sauber, leider eine Glastür im Bad welche nicht geschlossen werden konnte. Fernseher könnte etwas größer sein. Dusche war auch nicht dicht so dass es recht nass wurde im Bad. Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Frühstück ok leider keine Beschriftung. Für 2 Tage...

"Nice property overlooking the Elbe river. They don't take credit cards which requires a transfer from a bank for 70% of your stay to reserve your room. The owners are very friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable. They own and operate an ice cream shop and restaurant with typical German food options adjacent to the hotel. "Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"
