Knights Inn Allentown
2/10 Terrible
"Wrong type of room. I was unable to stay at the hotel because the room that they had for me was a room for special needs person. I needed a room for me and my family. "

Holiday Inn Express Allentown North by IHG

"Prepare for a stay here as if you were camping. True, there is a kitchen. But zero stuff you would use in a kitchen: no plates, bowls, silverware, cookware, coffee pot. The welcome card says dining ware, cookware and coffee pot are available for purchase (!!) but when we asked staff said they had nothing. Also no hair dryer. So basically what you would have expected in a budget hotel in the 70s. Staff is hit or miss. Front desk often unattended, frustrating since if you are staying several nights and need towels or toilet paper you will need to ask a person to get stuff. Claims to be 100% smoke free. Don’t believe it. Hallways smell of smoke (tobacco and weed) and the smell leaked into our room"

Baymont by Wyndham Bartonsville Poconos
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Staff were super helpful. The property was fairly old and in need of some updating. Our room had a jacuzzi, but the problem is the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a curtain only. There is a door for the bathroom but no wall. This was definitely a very weird construct and I am not sure I would have booked it, if it was clear from the photos or the description. The hotel is very well situated with lots of good restaurants nearby and only 30 minutes away from Bushkill falls."

Ramada by Wyndham Allentown/Bethlehem
10/10 Excellent
"Among reception staff, I wish to give big kudos to Kenya, who was overly kind and helpful. The other staff members, including the bar tender, were also excellent. The room had been recently redone and was clean. The lobby and bar area are OK, but the hallways and transit areas look pretty old and run down, especially the carpet. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was pedestrian, basically what you'd get at most two or three star hotels in the USA. We intended to have dinner at the hotel, but the chef was not on the premises, and the restaurant was closed. There was a "sweet 16" party held the night before. The toilets downstairs were in absolutely horrendous shape the next morning, and we could smell them from the dining area while having breakfast at about 8:30 am the following morning."

"Very much boom or bust location. Friday Saturday busy, spotty the rest of the week. On Sunday, you can’t even get a drink or decent dinner. Hotel bar is closed and the only food is one or two locations at the food court. If you are a business meeting, definitely do not want to come on Sunday."

Best Western Allentown Bethlehem Lehigh Valley Inn & Suites
6/10 Okay
"This hotel is quite old. They have done some updates like carpet. People were vacuuming and mopping floors both days we were there. So I felt the place is being kept clean. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. They had a yogurt machine instead of individual closed containers. Not the most hygienic . Apple and oranges were the only fruit. The coffee machine was fresh grind but when busy got very backed up because of the time 1 cup takes to make. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were so flat they were almost non existent . Parking was adequate. They were full because of graduations from colleges and it looked like there were plenty of spots."
