Grand location, right on the cliffs overlooking the beach and beachfront attractions. The Grand Hotel is Victorian era grandeur with charm but has seen better days. We found a bargain with some trade offs that were worth it for us.

Great stay as a solo traveller. The room was lovely and just the right size, well-equipped and with a beautiful sea view. The food was good with plenty of choice and the evening entertainment was a highlight. I checked in online beforehand but still had to queue for quite a while on arrival, which could have been better organised. Overall though, a brilliant first stay and I’d return.

We parked elsewhere... After a major let down from where we were ment to stay.. we found the grand and it was perfect for us ..clean and warm .. apart from bath not cleaned (I did it myself) everything was great ..we will be back ...

My Room was clean. Shower in my room was clean. Staff customer service skills were Good. Location is only a 10 minute walk to the sea front. Loose wire in the corridor near my room. Paint peeling from the Skirting board in my room. Couldn't open the window in my room. Communication from the staff could have been better about me checking out
