Comfortable and cosy

We had a great stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but we could have used firmer pillows (personal preference). The bathroom was spotless. The restaurant was clean, portions were generous and service was quick and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was fantastic, a small but significant bonus for us was being able to have a full size glass of juice instead of the usual thimbles you get in hotels.

We had a wonderful stay at The Grainary. We arrived in the rain but the kids were still excited to see the new piglets that had just been born. Our room was perfect for us. Large room with bunk beds for the kids. They loved the bunks! We ate in the restaurant, the food was brilliant. Very good. The crab salad was amazing. The following day the sun was shining and the animals were being fed so again the kids were delighted. We would love to return.
