"The front desk staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in and checkout. The room was a decent size, but there were a few issues with the integrity of the room. First, the bathroom sink had a small leak. Second, there were cracks in the floor and some parts of the wall and light switch covers were chipped. Third, the bed overlapped with the entrance to the bathroom, leading it to feel cramped. However, I think that this hotel is good for the one free vehicle parking, the convenience of the location in regards to bus routes and activities, and the rooms, aside from the issues mentioned, were decent."

"The location was beautiful and quiet. We stayed at 3 different hotels while visiting Hawaii and the beds at this hotel were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Might I suggest some hooks to hang towels and items in the room?"

"The room was great but COLD! 😆 We’d turn off the air conditioner and wear our jackets. The bed seemed a bit tired to me but my husband was fine with it. We enjoyed the breakfasts! We chose the location because we live near Waikiki and it was great being out in Kapolei. The location was fantastic, too. I’d definitely return but bring more warm clothes. 😁"

"Stayed at the Renaissance Spa Hotel and had a great experience overall. Shawn at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the start. I stayed on the 19th floor with beautiful city views and a partial ocean view. I spent 7 nights there, and the room was consistently clean and comfortable thanks to excellent housekeeping. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Waikiki, which is nice if the weather isn’t too hot. Otherwise, the hotel offers a shuttle service that runs every two hours. Uber rides typically ranged from $9–$15, though Lyft was consistently a bit cheaper. There is a $50 daily destination fee, which is provided back as a credit to use at Sera on the property. While the credit is a nice perk, the experience at Sera didn’t feel very welcoming. I’ve shared a more detailed review about that separately. Overall, still a convenient and enjoyable stay."
