"Truly amazing hosts, Dan and Margaret make you feel so welcome. Their breakfasts are amazing, tarts and apple crisp to augment omelettes and pancakes! They take time to get to know their guests. The surrounding acres are beautiful riverside that you can take advantage of via kayak or canoe. It is adjacent to a YMCA facility so the stay is quiet and serene. Proximate to Rib Mountain park for hiking, or two renowned art museums, including the Leigh Yawkey Woodson "Birds in art" museum, it makes...

"I booked this hotel through Expedia to attend a conference. My colleague did the same. Hotel refuses to get me a receipt so I can't expense it, but they have given my colleagues a receipt. Horrible will not book again."

"They were in the middle of cleaning the entire place. Staff was very kind and helpful. Extra coffee for the single serve was a huge plus. Pillows were awesome."

"We stayed in room 237 which is directly across from the stairwell. Cold air gushed up the stairs and into our room. There was no good way to regulate the temperature. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had problems. However I will never stay in that room again."

"We stayed here for one night, but will definitely will be coming back. The room was clean, comfortable and nice. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great staying!"

"A really magnificent departure from the mid-range, vanilla hotels that we business travelers frequent. You'll experience coolness overload when you stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the communal areas are stunning in a way that fans of Gustav Stickley, Teco, Weller, etc won't easily forget. The breakfast was superb too. The only drawback-It was really hot, and the A/C in this old girl couldn't keep up. Luckily there was a large fan in the room. Walking...

"Stayed one night. Everything was great."

"Location was great- staff was helpful. My complaints are- rooms were musty and dusty. So, we left with stuffy noses and headaches. The second complaint is that the food for the breakfast bar was not stocked when it ran out 1/2 way through the allotted time for breakfast hours. So, for my family the pickings were slim to non."

"I was satisfied with this hotel and would stay again. The inside was great. The only reason for four stars was that the outside grounds were not very well kept."

"Guestbook is helpful. It took a little extra time to get the TV's up and running. Think they needed a reboot."

"Great location helpful staff in every area!"

"No toothpaste or shampoo so you make sure you bring your own. Otherwise it is a good place to stay."
