"We booked this hotel because it was near the airport and seemed clean and modern from the pictures. It is in a neighborhood and not all that close to the airport(not walkable, 10-15 minute drive). They charged $30 CHF for a ride to the airport in the morning for the 3 people in my group in a shared shuttle van. An Uber would have been less. "The air conditioner broke in the middle of a heat wave in the middle of the night. We called downstairs but we were only able to partially restore it after a lot of effort and waking everyone in the room up. The hotel obviously does not maintain the property as well as they could. They should not be charging the prices they do for rooms with no air conditioning. When we checked out, the staff don’t even ask us how our stay was. Some staff were friendly and helpful but others were definitely not....

"Don't be fooled by their title. Yes, this hotel is at the end of the runway so technically at the airport. But it is a very expensive cab ride away. My husband broke his finger and cut it open by opening the door while the toilet room door was open. His finger was smashed between the two handles. We mentioned it to the desk that there is a severe design flaw in these rooms and she shrugged and said they are all like that. On a positive note, the water pressure in the shower was great.
