We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. "The hotell is very nice. The staff were all friendly, the breakfast was hot and good and the room comfortable and clean. The only mark against them is the entry to the hotel. There were hundreds of cigarette butts lying in the gutter by the sidewalk at the front entry. Something that could be swept up in a few minutes. It gives the wrong first impression of being a 1 or 2 star hotel instead of the 3 or 3.5 star that it is. I still recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

"On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and informed us of everything about the hotel. We had a lovely garden room which had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The room was very spacious and had everything you required eg. Tea and coffee machine facilities, iron and ironing board, toiletries and plenty of storage. The bar had a great selection of drinks. The breakfast facilities were excellent they had a buffet for cereals, pastures, toast and fruit. Hot...

"Very happy with my stay. The location was brilliant for where I need to be during my business stay. Room was spacious and clean and dinner/breakfast was a very good quality and provided in a timely fashion. Views from the hotel definitely added to the stay and who doesn't want a welcome cookie! IF I had to be critical of anything, I didn't get on with the pillows provided but I appreciate we are all different!"

"I stay here frequently and have no complaints. It’s comfortable, clean, good breakfast. Note to the manager - room 216 - get a MIRROR in it! I mentioned it to staff and they said they get lots of complaints about it! So sort it!! There’s a DIY store just along the road!! "
