"Love this place! Lovely, welcoming real fires in winter. Cool outdoor area for brighter days. Spent a great couple of hours in the beer garden. Rooms clean and well kitted out. Breakfast brilliant!"

"The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. "From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great. "Stayed here to attend a conference on site which was convenient. Breakfast is very good and I really liked the on site spa and fitness facilities. The spa had a promotion with the hotel which was good. The room is nice, comfortable and clean. Would’ve appreciated a mini fridge in the room although the hotel staff allowed me to keep things in reception. The reception staff are generally very helpful except one male manager during my stay who was not very flexible or helpful."

"Plenty of parking out the front. Delicious made to order breakfast Our room sink was dirty when we arrived, the lady was very quick and apologetic and cleaned it immediately . Shower ran cold after 1 person . 10 minutes drive from Preston football stadium and Deepdale shopping center."

"Because it’s an old property there isn’t enough plug sockets in the room & trying to do my hair without a mirror by a socket & somewhere to sit was pretty impossible So if your not bothered with this it’s a fine place to stay Missed fresh fruit at breakfast "
