Mare, the hotel director, went above and beyond by offering encouraging words and genuine support when I shared that I was staying there due to my mother being in the hospital. That kindness meant more than I can express. The room was clean and comfortable, parking was easy and convenient, and the food was great. Overall, it was a very positive experience during a difficult time, and I truly appreciate the care and hospitality I received."

"Our experience at this Hilton Inn was fabulous!! Brittany at the front was smiling, friendly and she was expecting us! She made us feel very welcome! Our rooms were clean and completely stocked! (And yes, I always checked the sheets!) It smelled nice and clean, not stuffy and stale! All staff smiled, and asked if everything was ok! They have very good coffees and hot water ready anytime you need it in the dining room! That was very much appreciated, as a couple of us are night owls. The breakfast was hot, lots to choose from, different toppings, choices and it was very clean! Spacious dining area, we did not feel closed in at all! The pool area was nice and spacious! They also had an outside seating area with a large gas fire to sit around in the evening! Our stay was one of the best we have experienced in 25+ years of traveling! We highly recommend choosing this Hampton Inn in Charleston, WV!"

"Room, bed and shower was clean but overall condition of the room was old and run down. Rust ring around the sink drain, dingy yellowing tub, messy caulking around the toilet, flooring in front of toilet and tub felt like you could fall through it. The picture on the wall looked old and had a bit of mold or something in the corner. Heat/AC was very noisy when it kicked on and there was a lot of road noise being that close to the highway. Trash truck came at 5 am to unload the dumpsters right outside our door, banging and beeping every time he backed up. Not a good night’s sleep…but it was clean. "

"Whoever is responsible for maintaining this hotel does a fantastic job! The lobby was beautiful and clean. The premises was beautifully maintained. The room exceeded my expectations! So clean and so very well maintained. Everything was is great shape and working order. Breakfast was hot and delicious as well. We were passing through and found this hotel based on customer reviews. I only wish all hotels were even slightly close to this hotel. Wish I could give it more stars!!"

"Aurora condition in our room was broke. Way to hot in the room. Maintenance man came and he didn't fix it. Dirty wash cloth left in bathroom. Ungrateful said she would give me reward points but never seen them."
