"It definitely pays to read all communication from the hotel prior to arrival. Then you get the check-in instructions beforehand. Otherwise, a decent hotel in a lovely part of Glasgow, just across the road from the Botanic Gardens and a stone's throw from the vibrant West End. Lovely freshly made breakfast, and friendly staff serving. The room was basic, but clean and served its purpose. Up in the gods mind you, a bit of a climb!"

"Great location. Bathroom was formerly a closet size wise. No elevators but staff does offer to help carry luggage. Breakfast was good. Parking is not that close by. Ok stay for o e night and close enough to airport."

"I have stayed at the Glasgow Grosvenor over the last four years. For what it is, it has become very expensive and the quality of the room was not reflected in this. Small and dingy. Overall, I think the hotel has become tired looking and needs a refresh to make it brighter overall."

"Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. We were supposed to be charged 15 pounds for parking for one night and they said to not worry about it and didn’t charge us. Love Scotland so far!"

"Really enjoyed our stay , room was clean and lots of towels ,beds were comfy, really good shower that had shampoo conditioner and body wash. Check out at 12 was really good to as lets you enjoy your stay :) also reception were super helpful on the phone in bedroom, had a hair dryer that wasn't working and replaced it with in 30 mins. And let us leave our bags when we checked out for free :)"

"The room was small but comfortable, although a bit warm at night. A small fan was provided. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, good shower. The only thing the room lacked was some drawer space and hooks for hanging coats etc, although there was a rail with coat hangers. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. The hotel was located about a 10-15 minute walk from the main shops/restaurants but beware that Glasgow has hills."
