"I highly recommend this very family friendly hotel. Staff was wonderful, the whole hotel was super clean to elevators, hallways, rooms, and outside and pool areas. The coolest thing was everynight of the week is family fun night. Friday was Karaoke, Saturday was Name That Tune for free appetizers and food and drinks. Sunday was board game night. Wednesday night is Bingo, etc. Loved it"

"Nice and new, a lovely stay"

"The staff were helpful and professional. They were attentive to your needs. The breakfast could be better. The grits did not taste like grits. They tasted as if they were mixed with cream of wheat. The sausage did not taste like sausage. Additionally, the hotel should have lotion in the rooms. It has refillable containers with shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. It should add a container with lotion. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return when we have an opportunity to do so."

"I had a very disappointing experience staying here. The room was not clean, and throughout the night I was extremely itchy, which made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, I saw roaches crawling in the room, which is completely unacceptable. Cleanliness should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property fell far below even basic standards. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others until these issues are properly...

"Wonderful staff"

"I checked in and was given my key and no other information. I get in the room and the large window that overlooks the ocean was covered in bird droppings. I call the front desk and the response is “We haven’t been able to get that cleaned-sorry “ When I checked out the next morning I asked why I hadn’t been told about the window and offered another room- no response This is not Shell Island A Resort - it’s Hell Island the Last Resort"
