"Fantastic stay at Central Wave Brighton. The location is great, really central and easy to get everywhere on foot.
The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely done considering it’s an older building. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
Check-in was easy and everything ran smoothly. Communication was good, and it was nice to have someone at reception if needed.
Overall, great value for money and a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back."

"Just had five nights at Best Western Princes Marine. There is limited free parking so it's a first come basis. Reception was friendly, warm and welcoming. There's a large lift to all floors. My room was a good size with a king sized bed, the room was comfortable and well appointed, as was the bathroom. Breakfast has a great selection to choose from. "The lift was out of order on my second morning when I was leaving. I had four bags with me which in total were too heavy to take down four flights of stairs in one trip. (I'm 76 and was on my own). Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park.

"Very lovely romantic room with a slipper tub which we were not expecting! The staff are so helpful, my husband bumped his head and cut it and they gave us sticking plasters and antiseptic wipes! Husband said breakfast was wonderful. The best bit was the bed though - literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were like clouds - so good I even asked the hotel to let me know where they buy them and they made the effort to do that and emailed me all the details. Great...

"Average stay, and at £400 for 2 nights it was disappointing! I was surprised at earplugs being provided, but hearing a club(?) behind the hotel empty their glass bins at 1, 2, 3 and 4am both nights it became obvious why!
Room was tiny and mattress dreadfully lumpy, but bathroom was pleasant and clean.
Receptionist at check in was nice but wasn’t asked if I would like to include breakfast or use the amenities.
When I checked out I left a bag, and when I came back to collect them I was shown...

Not worth the money they ask. Smell of urine in stairwell. No hot water for shower in morning. Shower head coming off wall. Thick dust on bathroom towel rail. Stained carpet.
