"Our stay at the Pennywell was great! We arrived before checkout but we were able to leave our bags at the front desk so we could explore. We were in town for Opening Day and the hotel was very close to the stadium, which was great. It is also super close to the Arch as well. Lots of food options around the hotel to check out. Room was clean and well kept. Although, our view was less than desirable as our window faced a brick wall but, we spent most of our time in St. Louis out and about. But, if...

"Housekeeping half cleaned the room behind the previous guest that stayed there, as there was hair that didn’t belong to either person in my party, and when they came and cleaned the room, they only turned one of the pillows over instead of replacing the covers/pillow cases."

Front desk staff member was rude to us when we told them our room key wasn’t working. She acted bothered by having to help us and demanded an ID. We couldn’t show ID because we just came back from the pool. She was rude and not someone who should be working at the front desk. "

"Was here with 3 other couples for 2 nights. Didn’t clean our rooms. Couldn’t get clean towels to shower before we left. None of us!!!! Front desk didn’t tell us had to use room key to go up the elevator. So after going up and down, someone finally told us how. Front desk was not very professional. None of us will ever stay here again!!"
