"The property is extraordinary. The rooms are large, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. The view of the Duoro Valley from our room and from the entire property really are magical. "This incredibly beautiful hotel has Douro Valley views from the balcony. I just loved it. The grounds are lovely. It sits on the Douro River, with a short stroll to a great collection of nearby restaurants. The daily breakfast was a delight with a large selection of quality items. My only annoyance was the bathroom mirror. It's limited to a single small circular magnifying mirror. I could use the large desk mirror, though, which gave me additional views of the Douro River. We'll be back!"
