"For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds...

"The experience is what to expect of a hostel: low price and meeting new people. Yet the way Bunks at Rode organised it, feels a bit weird to me. I stayed in a shared dorm (of 24). The cleaning personnel was mean, bathrooms and sleeping dorms are organized weirdly and the shared room is different from what I expected. I thought of seperating social rooms and kitchen, maybe even having more than one shared space. But its all in one place. Also, the kitchen does not provide any oven / herd, so...

"Inget kylskåp och ingen vattenkokare/kaffe på rummet"

"Dårlig frokost. Lite utvalg av brød (kun loff) og altfor lang kø ved kaffemaskinen. I tillegg gikk den tom for kaffe både lørdag og søndag, og det tok lang tid før den ble fylt på. Savner også å få tak i en kaffekopp på hotellet i løpet av dagen "

"Great stay"

"The overall stay was fine. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to two train stations. Construction within the same building could be heard but that was out of the hotels control. Lastly, one of the front desk employees was less than helpful. He didn’t seem to care or want to help us with storing our luggage in order for it to be picked up the following morning. He was dismissive and we could tell he didn’t care or want to care. Luckily, the person the following morning was amazing....
