"We got a free upgrade from a standard trip room to a kitchen cabin. Overall the kitchen cabin had a few dead flies and bees near the window. Might have froze to death in the cold. Other than that, the area was clean. Nothing much about the views because it was rainy and gloomy when we arrived. Everything was in order, check in and check out was ok too. We were able to leave our luggage at the counter before check in too which was great."

"Fantastic place to stay in Taupō. We booked a basic cabin but were given a cabin with a mini kitchen and lots of extra space. Having a kettle, microwave, sink etc was very helpful and contributed to a comfortable stay. We were also given a small bottle of milk for teas and coffees in the room. The cabin was cosy, warm, and very close to the shared bathroom facilities. The facilities at this resort were spotless, spacious and there were an abundance of showers and toilets. "We came during June so site was relatively quiet. But this park is very nice. Gorgeous view from every cabin of the mountains and facilities are very nice. Kitchen area is clean, spacious, and has a nice sitting area with a TV. Location is nice and central. Cabins have good heating for when it’s cold as well."
