This was my absolute favorite out of five luxury hotels in Korea. Not only was the room comfortable in every way, but the service here was better than at any other hotel. It was like having personal butlers, even at the gym. They just know what you need and they had wonderful personalities.
The room (Masters) was huge, with a shelf that fit both of my suitcases. The bathroom was massive, enough to be a small bedroom, and it was all furnished with the most premium brands. Along with the view and thoughtful details like an air purifier, welcome chocolates, and mini bar armoire, you can’t help but unwind here.
I also love that they have a bakery for small bites and Michelin level restaurants. My happy medium was the 1914 Lounge. What a great place for quality, flexibility, value, and vibe. The chef knows authentic French cooking. Who else would bother to garnish a simple soup with cauliflower steak crumbles and herb oil and add just the right amount of baguette toast on the side, already buttered for you. The mains are all skillfully cooked with much fresher ingredients than elsewhere. The teas are a must try, with unique blends from a boutique French house. The cocktails are also unique like the one that features Korean melon. The food here is really worth going out of your way to have.
I loved my experience here and will be making it a point to come back. The Josun hotels, especially this one, are absolutely worth it!
