Staff was really helpful to find shops and restaurants around, and I could leave my luggage at the front desk since I arrived much earlier than checkin and had to leave for the airport a few hours after checkout, so I could fully enjoy my time. Was very clean, had a window that opens and AC very powerful and quiet (weather was really hot). Modern feeling, two free water bottles a day included with the room, bed was comfortable. Washroom is rather small and in a korean style, so shower is not separated, but I was used to it so I could manage just fine. There is a CU (convenience store) on the street floor in the same building, so really convenient! Enjoyed my stay over all, and felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Lots of options of transportation, buses and subway at 2 minutes walking.

The hotel is affordable and in a convenient location to everything you’d want to do in Seoul! The staff were kind and the space was just enough. Would love to have more amenities but for what you pay for, it is comfortable and just what you need. Great aircon for the summer days in Seoul.

Es war super. Die Lage ist perfekt um Seoul zu besuchen. Die Haltestellen für Bus und Metro sind in der Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Man bekommt 2 Flaschen Wasser pro Tag. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Englisch ist an der Rezeption kein Problem. Es gibt ein Minimarket 24h von Nice to CU direkt am Hotel.

If you are coming up Seoul to party then this is a good hotel for you. The area offers a LOT of bars, night clubs, late night food. The hotel itself is decent and unkept with the exception of some strangely designed architecture and the bathroom.... There is a lack of storage or places to hang towels. Our biggest issue was the bathroom the shower toilet and sink are all within the same room with the shower spraying EVERYTHING and leaking under the small glass shower partition, this freaked me out a bit as of course there was a plug in for the bidet that water would leak to... It was a question if we're going to be electrocuted or not? I've been to Japan and this room was even smaller than hotels I stayed in there. So overall if you pack light and like partying this be a good place for you. I don't think I would recommend this area for solo female travelers it felt sketchy. Parts of the hotel were also under renovation so I'm not sure what amenities were actually available. They are supposed to have a spa and coffee/restaurant but that was not available to my knowledge. However, the staff were accommodating and overall friendly enough. But we would not stay here again

N285 Hotel was beautiful and worth it for the price. Conveniently located in Insadong, close to train station, many shops/cafes near by, and walking distance to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Room and property were very clean and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Very good location for a budget hotel. Staff have a good understanding of English so communication was an ease for me. The rooms are a bit smaller than I am used to but this was a base for me to rest tired feet after exploring. Bathroom came with a full bidet system like japan so this was a nice surprise ! For anyone that loves to walk and explore, the hotel is approximately 30min walking pace to myeongdong night market/Myeongdong Cathedral. 20mins to Kwangjang market. (Time will vary based on your own walking speed) Comments: the bathroom door handle was a bit loose so please get someone to get this fixed for that room.

This place is extremely small. I was only 1 person in this room, I couldn’t imagine staying here with another person. There’s no space for luggage, I had to open it on the couch. The bathroom is tiny. The glass between the shower and toilet do nothing. Absolutely everything gets drenched. They don’t even give you soap at the sink cause I presume they just want you to turn around and use the body wash. Towels, extra TP etc are all kept outside of the bathroom cause everything will get drenched. Fridge barely gets your drinks cold and there’s no way to adjust the temperature. Room was clean, bed was alright. I would not stay here again based on what I paid.
