"It's the second time we have stayed here in 6 months. I love the location--proximity to Donner Lake, trails, a bike trail, TART, etc."

"The staff was very helpful & friendly. Parking was easy and the location is really nice and quiet. The restaurant has a wide variety of excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner entree's at reasonable prices. (for California) Their coffer is stellar. (they have an imported Italian espresso machine) They also have "drip" if you desire is "American coffee"..... And lastly, great value too."

"Went during the summer. So more laid back and less people. I believe during winter is the heavy season. Right at squad valley ski resort. You can see the trams going up and down from our room. Will stay again if I'm on the west side of tahoe."

"We brought our cat and stayed in a pet-friendly rooms. The kitchen/living area had lots of storage space, refrigerator, small stovetop, microwave and utensils/cups/etc that were convenient. Dish soap, a scrub sponge and a drying towel were provided for clean up. However, whomever previously had our room didn’t thoroughly wash everything, so we had to pre-wash some things before we could cook. Also, water pressure at the kitchen sink was low at times. "There is no staff on site, this is self check and self check out. The pool and hot tub were not cleaned during our stay and they both had sand and other debris. We could not locate an ice machine so I don’t know if they have 1 or not. It’s a nice location walkable to the beach and a few restaurants."

"We stayed in a yurt. It was very comfortable for three people. A bunk bed and one-man cot were provided. Bring your own bedding. (We liked the fact that it had a small fridge, coffee machine, heater, and fan. The designated grill for the yurt was a PLUS for cooking/grilling purposes. The bathrooms and showers were very clean.
