"My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. "The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. "

"Beautiful grounds around hotel. Would have preferred more typical Honduran breakfast, more plantain,refried beans, etc.instead of French toast. Enjoyed the pool. Short walk to restaurants, nice beach, grocery stores, shops. Small fridge in room, no microwave. Would love to stay here again. "

"We loved the location- very central to restaurants, bars and across street from beach. Room was clean.Bed was comfortable. A/C worked well. Dehumidifier also was helpful keeping room cool. Staff was helpful even carrying lounge chairs to beach for us. We were able to store our luggage after check out until our flight later in day. Communication with Mame Tree was excellent with quick response. There was construction but only 8-4 so didnt bother us at all. Enjoyed the outdoor sitting...
