"Love this place, perfect location right on the beach beside the best bar on the beach, on the calmer side of half moon bay (less road traffic). Rooms are simple and cute, good air conditioning all with a little balcony patio, table and chairs and hammock surrounded by manicured jungle and plants, serene but steps away from the action. Staff is lovely and helpful, I picked the perfect spot, highly recommend!"

"My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We struck up a conversation over lunch at the hotel restaurant—where the food was excellent—and ended up talking about sports. When Edgar learned that I play pickleball at home, he invited me to join his family that evening for a game. "We had an amazing stay at Ibagary. Attended an out of this word friends’ wedding there and spend a few days relaxing at the hotel after the wedding. The beach front location is beautiful and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very well looked after and would recommend this location for a wedding as well as a relaxing beach vacation. "
