"This was an older property the room was very nice and roomy, it was clean and the bathroom had some nice updates. The bed was comfortable. There was a slight smell like old smelling, but we got used to it quickly. The pool was very cold and the hot tub was not very hot. But they were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

Unfortunately, this establishment has gone to openable pump dispensers for the hygiene products. "Best lodging I had on my 10-day trip. And lowest price. Only one issue. The room had the newer low-profile Eljer toilet which is too low. I can’t sit on it without getting my bottom wet."

"The Sioux City Comfort Inn was substandard at best. First thing I noticed as I checked in was a sign on the desk saying they don't allow locals to stay there because of past "problems"; clue #1 as to how the night would go. Next thing I noticed was the side door we used to bring our stuff in had the door latch taped with package tape to keep the door from locking; it stayed that way all night I guess because it was still taped up in the morning. "Just saying the personal at the breakfast, weren't kind, the lady was upset cause we asked for refills in the food,there was no food left at all,it was 20 min to 10 am and she was complaining, the hotel was pretty packed and of course many people were having breakfast, that was my only inconvenience,the rest was great!"

"Clean room. Only think is there were 2 smoke detectors that kept blinking white lights all night that woke me up. I don't smoke, but my mom was happy that it is allowed in the casino rather than having to go outside. Staff were pleasant. It was really nice to receive 2 free drinks upon check-in."
