We apologize you had an experience that affected your visit. Not knowing what the experience was it is difficult to respond to your comment or take any action to prevent the repeat of such experience. It is always recommended that you talk with Management to help with any issues during your stay.

Unfortunately, we do have instances where we find ourselves overbooked and as quickly as we know we have our reservations department contact our guest with accommodations we were able to obtain. The resorts themselves do not handle any reservations on property, it all occurs through reservations, and when we know we have an overbooking we act on it as quickly as possible. Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge wants to thank you for your comments. The Wilderness indoor waterpark is going through an expansion which is why the hot tub is gone. There will be an indoor lazy river and a water-coaster among other things. We hope you will come back when this expansion opens to enjoy the new activities.

Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge apologizes that you experienced this situation. It is never our desire to have a situation happen that overbooking occurs. But circumstances happen beyond our control and we contacted Expedia to reach out to about the circumstances and assist you in finding either a new location or refunding you for the stay. Unfortunately, it appears Expedia had not done this. Since Expedia is in control of your contact information and funds there is nothing Wyndham can do. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future.

Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge apologizes for the issue you experienced with one of your toilets during your stay. We do see that once you reported the issue our maintenance associate responded and repaired the toilet. There was no other communication from you, after that initial incident, of any additional issues with the toilet. Nor do we see you reaching out to our management team regarding any issues.
