"To be very honest, the hotel provided a good room, but the neighborhood is horrible. 40 minutes from Manhattan, 25 minutes from downtown Brooklyn with a car. Staff is horrible, had to ask house keeping to come clean the room but they never showed up. Big reason to not book here is the AC system does not work. "The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port—about a 5 minute walk. Walking is quicker than a cab because of the traffic pattern. Lots of good eating options in the neighborhood. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only complaint is their weird breakfast set-up: rather than the usual buffet option, they offer a one-size-fits-all bagged breakfast. "
