"its very difficult too give a fair judgement because different people have different standards, what I expect, other people may not, the run away in the shower flooded, the bathroom sink dripping and cobwebs on the outside and inside of windows, I don't know about anyone else but I find this disturbing, and I have to say the staff were incredible and really helpful."

"All was good with the hotel with the exception of the temperature control in the room. It was a warm week but the temperature control in the room seemed only capable to heat the room making it feel like a sauna and not conducive for a good nights sleep. Staff tried to help but there was nothing they could do. My advice is that if the weather is warm then ask for a room to the rear of the hotel, I think the rooms are smaller but they don't have the large windows which cause the room to overheat."

"We stayed at the hotel while attending my son’s ice hockey national final. Overall, the experience was just okay. One of the main issues was breakfast. I had a very early start on Sunday, but breakfast did not begin until 8am, which meant we were unable to use the breakfast we had paid for. I asked the staff whether any food could be provided earlier, but was told this was not possible due to allergy concerns. I also asked whether the money we had paid for breakfast could instead be used towards dinner in the hotel restaurant, but this was not offered as an option either. As a result, I am now having to request a refund from Hotels.com for the breakfast we paid for but could not access. We also used the pool during our stay. Unfortunately, it felt like it could benefit from an upgrade and a more thorough clean. While the staff were polite enough, I did not feel they went the extra mile on this occasion. Given the circumstances, especially knowing we had an early start for a national sporting final, a little flexibility or effort would have made a big difference."

"This hotel is very nice and beautifully run . A fantastic team very welcoming and very professional . This was apparent up on arrival and continued thorough out of our stay by all the staff . This is mainly down to a fantastic management .You and your team are a credit to the hotel and the Marriott group. We had a fantastic time staying at courtyard and looking forward to our return in the near future . My wife and I and our daughter and her husband believe that this hotel is by far one of the best hotels in the area . A spacial thanks to Mr Lewis Watson and Robin"

"Very close to Sheffield railway station and easy to find. Check in (& out) was easy and quick. Room was ready well before time stated. The air conditioning was very welcome on a very hot day. Room clean and quiet. I liked that it had a bath but as the shower was over the bath this might be a problem for the less able as climbing into a bath can be difficult."
