We chose The Marlene to stay while we were in town for two days during our son's surgery, and it was perfect. They greeted our son by name when we arrived and were always checking in on how he was doing. We stayed in the Cottage and loved it. It felt like the property was ours. "If you get a choice, definitely book the rest house. It’s a small apartment and it is so lovely. The check-in process is so easy. The restaurant on site is delicious and we eat out a lot in Houston. I would definitely give it more stars than the pizza place around the corner, although I do love the free shuffleboard at that place. "We loved our stay at Cambria. It was so close to the convention center & the MLB stadium as well as the public train & many restaurants. We ended up staying two extra nights - the staff was great. Loved the lobby space and the bar. Def recommend!"
