"The front desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Our door would not open despite getting a green light and one of the women suggesting pulling up in the handle rather than down, which solved the door problem. The breakfast staff were also friendly and moved rapidly.
As for the breakfast buffet, we were pleased with the quality. The scrambled eggs had a great flavor, probably with butter, and the bacon was indeed crispy. The fruit was good with a nice bowl of blueberries to add to strained Greek yogurt.
The parking lot connected to the hotel is very dark. Several lights did not seem to be working or maybe they are in a timer for later in the day. The rooms were made up nicely. I recommend to housekeeping to inspect the grout in the showers since the humidity of the summer could cause a few specks of mold to develop quickly. The air conditioner is not noisy thankfully.
The Blackfriars Playhouse is beside the hotel. Just walk out and there you are. Shops and dining options begin one block away. This is our third time visiting Staunton but the first overnight visit and we enjoyed it much more this time."
"Love the layout of the room. Very quiet. Breakfast very good and the outside seating was well used by our large group attending a wedding. Will come again. Thxx"
"The staff at the Omni Homestead Resort are absolutely fantastic! My favorite are the folks working the valet and bellmen!!! They always take care of my car, they always have a kind word, and they’re just downright good people!"
"Very clean and new hotel. Staff was friendly. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious. The only problem was the WiFi did not work in our rooms. The tvs are smart TVs so they also did not work since there was no WiFi. That was a huge disappointment. Also the breakfast was a few muffins, granola bars and fruit. No hot breakfast. Which isn’t really a issue as long as you know that ahead of time. Overall it was very nice especially for just a one night quick stay."
"This newly renovated, squeaky clean hotel is a favorite of ours as a stop off on our I-81 journeys. It is at an excellent location, quiet, clean, and the rooms are spacious. Hotel gym, breakfast, and pool are excellent additions to our stay here. They are also pet friendly and have a nice spot to walk around with bag stations posted. Thanks for another excellent stay!"
