Shekou Stay

We had a great stay and experience at CM+. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room configuration we booked was no longer offered (posting error at Hotel.com website) but the staff immediately upgraded us to a bigger unit with our stipulated configuration. The unit was like newly renovated. Location wise, it is just a short walk from the mtr lines 2 and 12. I highly recommend CM+.

Booked the largest room as a big group, wasn’t the same as the floor plan shown on hotels.com Even worse is there was no elevator on block A,B,C,D, which we couldn’t stay as my grandma couldn’t walk up to 3rd floor Eventually, the staff didnt let us to switch the room for us, I had to call to hotels.com to sort it out Overall was okay, location is convenient

Great location but property getting run down

I have stayed at this property before when it was called Fraser Suites. It seems like the quality has gone down. The room that I was in was not in very good condition and it was freezing cold. The breakfast was just okay - not as good as it used to be. I spoke to someone at the front desk. They brought me a heater for the room but I was still cold all night. I was disappointed in the whole experience. Probably won't stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Ascott and while the people there were friendly and the shower was nicer, Fraser Place is superior in all other aspects. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast is a mix of Western and Chinese, the furniture, including the bed is very comfortable, which is incredibly important, as someone accustomed to softer beds than one can normally find in China.
