Ok, but very worn

This hotel caters for native Chinese speakers (I now notice that the best reviews are written in Chinese) - local feel. Staff speak hardly any English, so unless you speak Mandarin well you will have difficulties / fun communicating (good if you want to learn Mandarin). Staff tried to be helpful, but language barrier often meant it was easier to do things myself. The facilities are quite badly worn in places (e.g. towels and bed linen had worn through holes, but seemed clean. I saw 3 cockroaches in my room (and used my DEET spay on them). Excellent location (I like DongMen area), nice to get away from the westernised tourist areas. Although cheap by western standards, it doesn't seem to be particularly competitive / good value. Always seemed to be a security guard on duty at the entrance barrier. No safe in room, but room door was solid and lock was in good order - after a few days there I felt quite secure - staff seemed very trustworthy (obviously I didn't leave expensive things lying around). Shower worked, electricity worked, hot water worked, toilet worked. 200 yuan cash deposit was required at check-in (refunded when I left). No a/c in central areas (reception, lifts, and corridors) - may seem a bit harsh, but on a warn day it will be hotter than outside and by the time you get to your room you'll be dripping. A/c in room worked, but could only get it down to about 22/24C (I would have preferred 20). I had nothing stolen. I had no dodgy calls or propositions.

위치는 좋으나, 호텔이 더렵고 냄새났습니다.

위치적으로는 좋은 위치인듯합니다만,청결, 냄새, 먼지, 곰팡이 등등의 문제로 상당히 더러웠습니다. 5일간 참 힘든 일정이었습니다.

Will not stay in this place again!

The only reason I stayed in this place was because my clients were within 500 yards radius. This place is so run down , sting , dirty and people were smoking all over. I would not recommend this place to anyone, will not stay here again!

Why did they think it is a Hotel ?

Dirty, depressed, dark, noisy, sting, small, run down, it is not a hotel, it is a dump. It was regretful to stay in this place, although it's a non smoking property, people smoke all the way like , I also saw the manager spitted in the elevator, Disgusting!!! It's a shame !!!!!!

Good location, okay hotel

I'd go there again if I was looking for a budget hotel, but you don't get great hotels at this price range in China. Bad service during sign in as one of the employees shuffled papers around instead of registering us. We finally had to ask her directly to help us. The room was okay. Good water pressure. Somewhat thin walls. Bed was hard as you expect in China. Neighborhood had some street food and little hole in the wall restaurants. Very close to Shaibu subway stop, so it's easy to get to Luohu/Lo Wu border crossing with Hong Kong or train station to head to Guangzhou.

Good for biz trip

It is too good to go to downtown and hotspot in Shenzhen. (really nearby subway station and bus stops) The only thing that is not good thing is "No Wifi"

Difficile de faire pire

Mauvaises impressions. Excepté la bonne volonté du réceptionniste, le reste était médiocre. Situation de l'hôtel, ambiance, propreté, restaurant. Chambres mal organisées et mal éclairées. Eclairages de la salle de bain raccordés au scotch..., hôtel ouvert au 4 vents. C'est une auberge de backpackers pas un hôtel.

Hotel looks old and a bit run down. But it is near the walking streets in Dongmen where most things are sold. Within 10 min. walking distance. Convenient to go to other shopping areas also, 2-3 stops by metro.

The hotel is located at a strategic place whereby it is easy to find by visitors. Food is easily accessible at a nearby restaurants. Visitors can shop at the shopping centers and the stores at the walking street which are quite near to the hotel. The distance is less than 1 km. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. House keeping is good. However, the service from the reception should be improved. The service of check-in and check-out take quite long time.

Shenzhen stay not too far from Metro

A short taxi ride (about 5 minutes) to the Metro train station to go to Hong Kong. There is always construction going on in China however, the hotel seemed tucked away behind further construction and could have been easily missed. Needs a sign out front to bring in people. The entrance way was very clean. The elevators and hallways seemed a little depressing. The room however was just right for an average traveler. In fact, it would almost be on par with a room from a Holiday Inn or Best Western in North America. Clean and comfortable.
