"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. "Going to start off by saying that when you advertise a cottage in the middle of peak summer then you should ensure that at the very least the aircon is working. The place felt like a furnace the moment we stepped in and when we switched on the aircon it was not working. I promptly messaged about it hoping someone would come and fix it next day. We were staying for 2 nights only. The first night was unbearable. Kids woke up in the middle of the night as the upstairs rooms were very very hot. So...

"DANGEROUS HEALTH HAZARD: Parasite Risk, Filth, unpleasant. Stayed 3 times for work, but never again. This hotel is a severe health and safety nightmare. Health & Water: The water quality is appalling. After using the tap on my last day, I suffered a violent gastrointestinal reaction. The shower water is so harsh it "burnt" my skin barrier. "Clean spacious and quiet "

"No plug in the sink. Fridge seals need cleaning, better still replacing. Fire alarm needs to be secured to the ceiling. No hand towel. General clean wouldn't hurt. "

"The room was atrocious - shower not so much leaking as running, holes in blankets, barely any facilities. Folks knocking on the door all hours of the morning looking for drugs. Do not recommend."

"We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with twin beds in 1 room and whilst the hotel was agreeable to splitting a bed, it took over 24 hours to happen. The patio had all services on it (hot water system and 2 aircon motors, 1 of which was not for this room), and the aircon drain was direct onto the patio floor, so you could not use the patio except to stand in the middle of it on a mat that was placed on it for water reasons. The apartment was advertised to have aircon, but it was in the loungeroom...

"Some friends booked for us to stay here whilst attending a sporting event whilst over from the UK. It’s a conference centre first and foremost and for the ten days we were there there were no conferences so was very very quiet with limited facilities available. However, it proved to be an excellent base for us, the rooms were very comfortable (the beds are huge) and provided kettles, toasters, fridge etc. There’s no reception after I think about 5pm so having left my keycard in the room at...
