"I didn't stop at the pool, so I'm not sure if that was open or not this time. It's usually not when I stay here, which is disappointing if you get a room here because they do advertise having a pool.
I paid just a few dollars more and got a room with a big jetted bathtub, which was really nice. That also guaranteed a room on the first floor. A second floor room here can be a pain if you have bigger luggage because there's no elevator.
The staff is always friendly here. They have a decent basic hotel breakfast included for a few hours each morning.
The room was clean, and everything seemed well-maintained in the room. There are plenty of restaurants and activities in the area.
I was pretty surprised this past stay (and glad that my kids weren't with me on this trip) because the channel guide stops at 41, but as I was flipping through, there are several more channels, including a porn channel that wasn't blocked or restricted or pay per view, just flipping through and you go from Friends to that. For the first few seconds I thought it was just a terribly written and terribly acted soap opera...until the characters were suddenly naked and banging each other. That was a quite unpleasant surprise for me personally, but I'm sure it would be ideal for others. I think there should at least be some type of label or warning on those channels though since you have no idea who's going to be staying there.
The surprise porn was my biggest gripe, but overall good place to stay."
