"Nice quite and clean"

"I seriously thought about giving this place a TERRIBLE review because I liked it here so much and I dont want to see the price go up once construction on the exterior pool is complete and summer gets here. This is a river front property, however fishing is not allowed on the rocks currently but there is a place to fish about a quarter of a mile away in the neighborhood. The bed is super comfy. "Pros: The location was convenient. The room was cleaned daily. Staff was very pleasant. The AC worked great. The road noise wasn't terrible at all. The pool was very well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. Cons: I stayed for 6 nights and the sheets were never changed. The mop water is not changed between rooms which leaves the floors rather tacky feeling. On my very last night I found 2 live cockroaches and 1 dead that was under the drawer in the nightstand...

"Not impressed at all. Decided to stay due to price and rating, have no idea how it was rated so high. You check in at Holiday Inn Express, it's in a separate building in the back. Definitely NOT handicap friendly. Old and decrepit. Some kind of tomato sauce on main comforter. My suggestion is don't stay here unless you don't care. Only positives, bed was super comfortable and stay quiet for the most part. "

"There was a lot wrong. with the property. It was being renovated and the front entrance was closed. Had to come in the back (west) entrance, walk to the front desk. There was NO carts to bring in luggage. The clerk said there were ONLY TWO for the entire property and could not locate either one. We had to carry 2 loads of luggage and we are 65+.
