"Our room was not cleaned after our first night stay, even though we put a sign on the door to clean the room. The hotel was near the airport and approx. 14 miles from KC central city; however, the hotel charged $7 a day to park our car (over kill). The towels were rough, and the shower was not clean after first night stay. Would not recommend!"

"The price for this hotel was great. The interior of the hotel was completely renovated and it looked great. All new furniture and bathrooms. The bed was pretty comfy and slept great. The AC's worked almost too good. The restaurant was okay but they need to do little bit more for the breakfast. Buffets are good but getting a little old. I will say that they need to fix their elevators, maintenance can go a long way to keeping people from panicking about riding them. BUT I look at a hotels...

"I woke up to find a furry ball in my room. I asked the desk clerk to go look and ha came back with a hair piece. Why would there be a hair piece in my room if it had been cleaned? Also, there were spiders in the bathroom. I will never stay at another Super 8!"

"After a delayed flight, I called for airport transfer (which was advertised) and they said it stopped at 11pm. After Ubering, when I arrived, no one was in the lobby. When he did come out there was no apology for making me wait and no apology when I told him of the transportation issue. I just wanted a little bit of polite acknowledgement. A refund of my Uber cost would have been nice."

"The hotel was ok overall but I wouldn't pay extra for breakfast. Even as a "GRAB N GO" style, there wasn't much to eat. All they had was tiny muffins ganola bars and coffee. No fruits, no juice, no cereal..."

"This is an old, out dated hotel. It is understaffed and in poor condition.i waited 15 minutes for check-in because the front desk lady was folding laundry. The elevator didn't work. The tv didn't work. The hair dyer didnt work. The room phone wasn't connected. Hallways hadn't been vacuumed. Very dirty place."

"There was trash in the elevators and hallways and outside by the smoking section. The room never cooked down and was very hot. The walls are super thin. "

"Breakfast is just okay, would be better with croissants, bagels, the next step up from plain bread and dispensed basic cereals. Shutlle to/from airport is very good. Not much local public transit except a nearby bus that comes once an hour and is nearly an hour from downtown. Routes recently changed so check with local transit authority, but staff there can be very helpful or rude. A few restaurants are in the nearby hotels, but almost none close by that are freestanding/walkable. Overall, good...
