"This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. "The Bull is centrally located in Bridport with all the towns facilities within easy walking distance. The hotel itsrlf was very welcoming and the staff efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We took advantage of the guest car park which was safe and easily reached through the hotel. Would stay again if in the local area."

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "

"The suite was lovely and spacious, very clean as well. We decided to have a Valentines meal there which was also very good. The staff are courtious and very helpful. Full English breakfast was really tasty and well cooked. Overall a wonderful place to stay, our room overlooked the beach."
