I really don't have anything bad to say about my stayat The Tandara. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of town close to all amenities. My ensuite room was clean and spacious. Staff friendly and very helpful.Great value.

Overall, satisfactory for an overnight stay that included an onsite restaurant.

Friendly staff, good room

We booked a room for one night on our week long road trip from Brisbane to Airlie Beach. The room was exactly what we expected and ideal for one night. The free breakfast was an added bonus. The highlight of our stay was our dinner at Fusion 128, which was in the centre of Mackay but easily accessed by car.

Great place, friendly staff. Only stayed one night so didn't get to check out all the facilities, but thoroughly enjoyed the room and there was very fast wifi.

This motel was easy to find, extremely clean and well presented and our room was spacious. A light breakfast was provided. There was a pleasant eatery next door for the evening. Really good value for money.

Really good restaurant on site

Good location, pool and very good value continental breakfast. There was milk and bottled water in the fridge when we arrived. Very friendly and informative manager. The property was a little tired and in need of decoration reflecting the town which is struggling economically.

Clean

Very friendly owners. Nice room with plenty of space. No complaints.

Frank & Marie were very welcoming and helpful Went out of their way to be friendly They have recently taken over the motel and are doing a great job on the improvements

The Reception manager was absolutely brilliant with a Smooth and painless check in and provided us with local information and directions. He even loaned us his own large umbrella to shelter us from torrential...
