"Great pool & hot tub - the breakfast was above average for a motel --- some hot food. Our only real complaint is that the marble floors in the bathroom and sink area were very slippery, especially when wet. We bought cheap rubber backed rugs to put down and a non-skid mat for the tub. My wife and I both have some mobility issues (she's having knee replacement in a few weeks) and the staff did their best to accommodate our needs."

"Historic hotel well-maintained for its age. Even check-in was commensurate with the hotel theme by hand-writing my information on a card as opposed to an electronic-based system. Staff are very friendly, professional, and offered excellent choices for dining. We enjoyed the character of the hotel and would gladly stay again."

"Very motivated staff.i left a tip for the maid. The maid left a note saying she didn’t know if it was if she was supposed to take it and if I wanted it back to let the desk know. I thought that was nice if not strange. Is it unusual to leave tips?"
