"Staff was nice and friendly, however the hotel is falling into disrepair. Many ceiling leaks and water damage all over property including in the pool area which was actively leaking. Elevator out of service due to a flood on the lower level. Pool water was fairly cold and our room consistently smelled like pot or cigarettes and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. "Microtel- Janesville has a TON of TV channels to choose from which is wonderful BUT can someone explain to me why Fox News was the only channel muted out? You saw the screen but no sound. CNN was fine, MSNBC was fine, all other news channels and all other channels worked just fine...only FOX News didn't have sound. Why? Hmmmm. I will not go to this hotel again for this reason."

"I have stayed at a number of motel 6’s over the years, and this was the most expensive, and the dirtiest. The door to the room was beat to hell, and greasy finger prints all over the inside of the door. Curtains were torn, floor turned my socks black. The bathroom faucet leaks all over the countertop, and the mold in the shower was too much to bear. The pillows were like pancakes, well past their useful life, and the thin towels smelled like pot. "We reserved and PAID for a Legacy Suite but got a 2 queen traditional room instead. The hotel blamed it on Expedia but I'm guessing they just over booked it. My wife and I were hoping for a romantic get away, which we are not able to afford much. We were both really disappointed. They didn't adjust our price because we booked through Expedia. On a positive note, the hotel was beautiful and clean. The town in of Beloit, WI is cute with a charming farmers market."
