"We had a wonderful weekend. Inn is a little dated but very cute. Room was clean and we sat out on our balcony with wine at night and coffee in the morning. Needed a dusting but comfortable. I would stay there again and recommend it to those traveling. Great location."

"It was beautiful, well designed with plenty of public gathering and relaxing places. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. We loved the coffee bars open all day. Great staff who were very professional and friendly!"

"We ended up staying here unexpectedly while moving across the country. It was a stressful situation with a lot of unknowns, and Paven was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. His willingness to help and positive attitude made a difficult day much easier. We are very grateful for his hospitality and would gladly stay here again."

"The room was fine, comfy beds, the towels were the best we’ve ever had anywhere, but the bathroom was not the best. Everything was so low (toilet and sink area). Another update that should be made is more outlets for people’s phones and watches. It was difficult to find a plug close to the bed so I could see the time and use my alarm. The outlet my watch was plugged into, did not hold the cord and my watch was not charged this morning. Otherwise, it was a fine room."

"Two separate buildings with very different feels. Back building has zero area rugs and is super load anytime anyone walks through. Rooms in front building much nicer."

"Absolute gem on the edge of.downtown. super walkable everywhere in terms of shopping, and within a 5 min drive to less pricier food options away from downtown. Jessica was an amazing and gracious host. The oatmeal with maple syrup, apples and walnuts was the quintessential Vermont start to the day. So many unique touches in terms of aesthetics made it feel homey yet held to the character of a nearly 200 year old home. Stay here."

"The place was a gem. What a beautiful view of the lake. The manager at the lodge was so helpful and friendly. This truly was a relaxing and fun stay. We plan to definitely come back. We had such a got time meeting new people and spending time outside by the fire and watching the lake and the great views."

"Amazing hot pool, great staff, another marvelous stay very close to the mountain and plenty of other activities. Laundry room is clutch (coin operated machines, change available at front desk). The wife had an injury and wasn't able to navigate stairs all that well, the front desk was understanding and were kind enough to move our room to the main floor, requiring no stairs, while the elevator was being worked on. New ownership is busy making some upgrades and maintenance and hopefully the vibes...

"Lovely hotel ( looks more like condos) on the edge of town surrounded by trees and green. Staff was very helpful and available early and late. We had a suite (highly recommend). Very cute town, good restaurants, farmers market on Saturday. We took the train from Rutland to NYC. It was a 2 hour drive from Albany."

"I will stay again the next time I’m up in the Woodstock area. Excellent staff, well maintained, excellent restaurant. Nice grounds. Fire pit. Parking is challenging if you don’t want to park across the street."

"Food was good, tasted fresh and cooked right away like a restaurant. He asked me what I wanted like at a real establishment , even took my order early . All homemade ingredients it tasted like. The room itself was clean also , and the staff I did encounter was very friendly as well. Parking wasn’t bad , no complaints there . Overall a very great experience and thank you for a very great experience "
