"The position of the hotel is superb and the staff, service, food all excellent. Old world charm and elegance in abundance!
Shame the 30 minute massage at the Victoria only lasted 20 minutes!
That apart, the Belmont is first class!"

"Staff were the best thing about the hotel stay.
Room was nice enough for our 1 night stop over (family room) with breakfast. Could have been cleaner in the room, no AC, and standing lamp didn’t work. Also could hear the people above moving around."

"What a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful too. Breakfast was great too. Easy walk into the city centre and bus no4 stops in the beautiful grounds . The views from the dining room are amazing. What value for money it was. Will stay again and highly recommend it. Free parking is a bonus."

"Whilst there are elements of faded grandeur to The Imperial it has done its best to keep up with the times. The common areas of the hotel are simply splendid: the wide staircases, the spacious corridors, the breakfast and dining areas, the bar, and the magnificent views of the coastline and the bay. The hotel benefits from being at the edge of town and is appreciably quieter than the town centre. It was great being able to linger over breakfast.
