Absolutely perfect couple of days spent here, staff were great! Extra special thanks to Lee who’s always very polite and helpful. Close to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the town. Breakfast was freshly cooked to request, great selection of food. Beautiful gardens to relax in during the evening. Highly recommended

It was a marvellous place to stay close to the sea as well as the town but very peaceful when you need to relax. Great breakfast.

Another great stay at the Balmoral Hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Stayed on B & B basis, lovely breakfasts. Love to return again later this year.

Lovely hotel with great food.

Lovely hotel with great food and free parking. Excellent sunny outside area to relax in if the weather is good. Only a 10 minute walk into Torquay or there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. All in all had a great time.

We spent 3 nights and it was a fabulous hotel the food was out of this world and the room was clean and spacious. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The friendliest staff you could ever hope to meet. Beautiful garden, near the beach.choose your room with care as they vary in size. Comfortable beds.

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at The Hotel Balmoral. The bedroom was a nice size with very comfortable bed and a good sized shower room. The staff were very friendly and the breakasts were excellent. We had dinner there one evening, which was also excellent with a great selection of wines. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room we had was extremely Small and no shelves in the bathroom ,we asked to move to a bigger room but the hotel was full. The food was excellent and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We would return but look to have a larger room.

We have just returned from 5 days at the Balmoral Hotel in Torquay and we had a wonderful time The hotel was spotless, our room was described as cosy but there was plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. The hotels garden was so pretty with plenty of recliners and tables and chairs. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious We are hoping to return for another holiday in the near future. We would highly recommend the Balmoral

Lovely weekend for two @ The Hotel Balmoral

Friendly, helpful staff, rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast delicious, cooked breakfast and coffee was hot and plentiful. Plus the choice of juices and additional breakfast goodies were very tempting. Only slight criticism was the shower head was fixed at quite a low level so made it quite tricky to have a shower.......However, would most certianly stay again

Breakfast didn't start until 8.15, which was too late for me. They were able to give me a breakfast sandwich. Room was compact and cozy, bathroom a little dated.

Kleines, familiäres Hotel. Frühstück sehr gut. Wunderschöner Garten. Zimmer klein, aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr nah am Strand. Auch das Stadtzentrum ist fussläufig in ca. 10-15 Minuten gut erreichbar. Personal sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung. Für ein Dreisterne-Hotel top mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Excellent stay

Four of us stayed and had a lovely experience. Very attractive hotel. Good service and great breakfast. Bus just outside to get into Torquay centre. Five minutes on bus saved taking the car. Could not fault the staff. Friendly and attentive. Would come again.

Hotel Balmoral - 3 nights stay

Charming hotel in pleasant location close to nice beach with delightful garden area. Room 19 on first floor was clean and adequate for 3 night stay. Ensuite was 'bijoux' but could do with a bit more shelving/storage. Would probably chose a different room if staying longer. Public rooms excellent as was food, Good bar with reasonable prices and staff efficient and helpful. Bus into town from just outside entrance was useful. Would recommend.

Double bedroom No.6 was small and cramped. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever experienced. The bedroom carpet was in need of replacing as it was faded and marked.

There is a lovely garden with a view to the sea and there was just a short walk to the beach. The choice of breakfast was good as was the service. The only downside is there isn't a lift and no porter service to the rooms which were all upstairs. This was my own fault as I should have checked when I booked. Just be aware when booking if you have any sort of disability.
