"We enjoy staying at this property when we're in Cambria. The location is great, the property isn't huge and the rooms are spacious and fairly well appointed. A couple of gripes this visit: the room wasn't as clean as we're accustomed to (i.e. found little bits of paper, noticeable dust on the standing fan and some tiny ants) and the body wash in the shower was empty. "A lovely and charming spot on our coastal drive! Fabulous location with the boardwalk right at the edge of the property - and fun having the spa and fireplace in our room. The staff were all so sweet and accommodating, especially Lisa, she is a gem! So thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional, she was awesome. If you're driving electric, make sure you have some charge bc the charger can be busy and our charging was a little problematic."

"Excellent location next to the beach. Spacious and clean rooms. Unfriendly check in staff. There’s only one restaurant nearby. They don’t take credit cards, more than 1 hour wait(arrived 7pm got seated 8:25pm) but food and staff were excellent. Hotel staff didn’t give other restaurant options. No cell service in the area."

"This was our third stay at Rigdon House and our worst. We like Rigdon House because check-in and check-out is--at least was--easy; rooms are clean with good amenities; restaurants and shops are in easy walking distance; and there's a huge patio in the back with lots of seating. It was our worst visit because: 1) There was no desk clerk available much of the time. In our past visits there was always a clerk at or very near the check-in desk. We had to wait to check in. "We stayed upstairs in the refurbished, newer bldg. where breakfast is prepared. The young lady who runs the kitchen does an outstanding job, cooking excellent hot foods and arranging other items in a nice buffet style. The check-in and checkout procedure is so simple that no staff needs to be involved and paperwork is not required. Afterhours, no problem either.
