Hostel and staff was good. But Passengers are worst ever. Someone smash security box door. Someone answers phone calling,and talking a lot in 3 a.m. Indian folks occupy rest room and dint leave so long. Cheap price gathers cheap ones.

Sports Hostel?, Hardly!

A weight bench a one set of dumbbells is not a gym. I couldn’t vouch for access to the pool, because there was no one at reception during my checkin, checkout or stay. The signs say male showers are on each level but they are either on alternate levels. The showers are adequate but annoying that you have to exit the shower to turn them on. Suggestions, perhaps a shelf in the capsule to put charging devices on, and a towel. I thought towels were standard with ‘bedding supplied’ accommodation now!

Good location, but very noisy and busy room right on the main road. Air conditioner did not work well. Also there is no actual pool included in the Hostel Like the pictures suggest. The pool is about a three minute walk and if you are an international it is very hard to use because you need a Singapore phone number and access.

Good for a low maintenance solo traveller

The pictures from the booking reservation did not match our actual room. Our room was outdated, small for the 6 of us, the private bathroom sink drained into the middle of the bathroom, the air conditioning was not as powerful as it should have been, the fan & air conditioning were really dusty. We arrived early because our flight landed early, the reception was not available, the emergency numbers to reach someone didn’t work. The staff is very friendly when present. The overall hostel was okay, our particular room was not what we had expected based on the photos we saw in our booking. The showers were a little dirty, the water didn’t get very hot, but was good enough. Communal toilets are very good; sinks are slow to drain. The food places downstairs was VERY good. The location of the hostel is excellent! If the hostel has the room we stayed in renovated, with better sink drainage, a good quality air conditioner, and a clean fan, and also a little more hallway space, it would be great. There was also a lot of construction during the day, so hard to sleep, but this issue is not the hostel’s fault. The hostel offers laundry services so that was really helpful to us. Also the code feature to get in and out of the building was easy. Also the outlets are universal in the hostel. The Wi-Fi also worked well. It was our actual room that was the issue. Overall the hostel is okay if you’re single and need a place to crash; not really the best for family. (Towels = $2)

No elevators, NOT clean at all and unsecured. There is only male restrooms on the 2nd floor meaning if your room is on the 2nd flr or if you are in the lounge/kitchen area you have to go to the 3rd floor to use the restroom. And only ladies' restroom on the 3rd floor so if you are male and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to go all the way down to the men's restroom on 2nd room. The back door next to the ladies restroom was not secure, it was wide open the entire time I was there. I will say most of the staff is nice and very accommodating tho. But I won't stay here again. The pictures are a little misleading, it make it look like there is a lounge area, kitchen w/ dining area and gameroom as if they are all separate and they are all in ONE tiny space.

Is false advertising not illegal in Singapore?

Cons: --It claims to have A/C but they turn it off in the rooms from 1100-1500 each day. --It claims to have a pool but it's not affiliated with BEAT whatsoever. --It claims to have a gym but it's just a treadmill and one set of weights with no A/C. --It claims to be non-smoking but the designated smoking spot is on a staircase down the hall from the bedrooms and men's bathroom, so the cigarette smoke pours into the bathroom and even seeps under the door into your bed capsule. --It claims to be "Singapore Clean," but it is not clean by any non-Singapore standard. Pros: --The service is great, I just think the owners don't care to invest their profits back into the hostel. --The capsule beds are comfortable, but all my clothes smelled like cigarettes after staying there for 3 weeks. --The community is decent, and I made some good friends.

Turn around and there are 3 bedrooms where ~30 people sleep total.

I like the old Arcade game. Please take out the swimming pool photo in Expedia because u don’t have a swimming pool very misleading. Watch out for the long hair cleaner he thinks his the owner he will tell u off all the time. Watch out the lady with the glasses at reception any favour u ask u will be decline so many excuses. They have 3 hour no air conditioning off time therefore ur sleep will be cut by 3 hours lol plus the black fun in rm 303 doesn’t work lol No mens toilet in the 3rd floor therefore if u need to pee u need to excersice up and down the stairs plus no lift u need to carry your heavy luggage 3 flours up lol. Terrible place ever. Enjoy la

Personal i really like the dedicated area for trackmill and weight lifting area. The receptionist host are very helpful and friendly.

The beat sports hostel is a nice hostel to stay for a fee nights. Staff is very friendly and wil help you with whatever you need. The rooms are clean and the beds are confortable. Showers and toilets are fine too and in the morning they serve a fine breakfast. The sports facilities are a bit limited though. Afteral a good place to stay.

Really friendly staff.. its a brand new place so everything is new. They had a gym on the third floor which was really basic. Gotta ask the reception for the key to the run mill but all's still cool. The hostel is very family friendly as the lounge converts to a play zone in the afternoon.
